about me
Hi, I’m Ryan. I’m a Chicago-based creative broadly working in the menswear space as a model, photographer, and stylist.
I have been engaged in fashion for the past decade, as a hobbyist and in professional capacities. Through Instagram as my primary platform, I have been consistently posting about clothes, working with brands, and building a dedicated following of over 16k individuals since the early days of modern social media. In collaborating with brands on social media, I strive for authenticity and pride myself on only promoting products I really believe in. I feel this is an especially important set of ethics to uphold in our consumption-driven society.
I have served as Photographer and Social Media Manager for Chicago-based men’s store Independence, Photographer and Director of Operations for American-made boot and shoe brand Oak Street Bootmakers, and most recently as a contributing Stylist and Model for Indianapolis-based men’s store James Dant.
Outside of fashion, I hold a master’s degree in hydrogeology and I work as an environmental consultant on a broad range of programs ranging from environmental disaster response (wildfires, hurricanes, large contaminant releases) to environmental justice & equity focused projects at the municipal, state, and federal levels. These days my role is data-focused and I enjoy building systems and automated processes to improve efficiencies on these large projects.
